While waiting for the train to take me to the Amsterdam airport I saw this woman in the distance talking on the phone. At the time I thought the contrast of her silhouette against the station windows was very beautiful. To this day it is still a very beautiful image in my head, given the experience that would follow that. A person would jump onto the train tracks on the route I was going. A picture of beauty before tragedy.
